Visit to Centuryville – Itinerary May 12 – May 14, 2009
May 12, Tuesday
9:45pm – Dr. Quinn and his wife, Dee, arrive at the International Airport. A rental car is reserved for them (Budget confirmation #12345). Drive to the Best Possible Inn (13 Bay Road, Centuryville) and check into the hotel. Phone 905.456.1234 (Directions are attached).
May 13, Wednesday
9:00am - Bruce Tree (Hospital representative) and Merry River (from Dr. Quinn’s hometown) will meet Dr. Quinn and his wife in the lobby of the Best Possible Inn and will drive them to the Hospital.
9:30am - Tour of the Hospital with Chief of Staff, Dr. Raj Chandra.
Meet the CEO James Jones and department staff over coffee and pastries.
1:00pm – Lunch scheduled at ‘Platter’s Restaurant’ with:
Bruce Tree
Merry River
Dr. Amanda Huggins
Sally Minelli (Hospital Board Member)
Buzz Ayad (a Local Pharmacist)
(Note: Mr. Tree and Mrs. River will drive the Quinn’s from the restaurant to the clinic).
3:00pm – Tour of the Medical Clinic with Dr. Amanda Huggins.
4:30pm – Following the tour Mr. Tree will take the Quinns on a tour of the community and drive them back to the hotel.
7:00pm- Dinner at ‘Dinkel’s Restaurant’. Joining the Quinn’s for dinner will be:
Dr. Raj Chandra & Vena Chandra (Chief of Staff and wife)
Dr. Amanda Huggins
Morley Smith (Mayor of Centuryville)
James Jones
(Note: Dr. Huggins will pick up the Quinn’s from the hotel and return them after dinner. Dress for dinner is business casual. Restaurant has been advised of dietary requirements.)
May 14, Thursday
8:30am – Breakfast at the ‘Bayside Cafe’ in the Best Possible Inn. Mr. Tree and Mrs. Minelli will join the Quinn’s for breakfast.
10:00am – Red Berry, a Real Estate agent, will meet the Quinn’s in the lobby of the hotel to take them on a house tour of Centuryville and then to the Bright Spot.
12:30pm – Lunch at the ‘Bright Spot Cafe’ with Dr. Hugginkiss and Mr. Smith.
2:30pm – Tour of schools with Gerry Adebole (Principal) who will pick up the Quinn’s at the ‘Bright Spot Cafe’.
3:30pm – De-brief with CEO James Jones at the hospital.
4:00pm – Dr. Quinn and his wife now have free time to investigate the rock-climbing facilities, as well as the art gallery and health club.
7:00pm – Drive to International Airport for a 9:30 pm departure flight.
